We haven't done this in a while. Why the meeting now?

Seeing isn't important. Thinking is. And we've got lot of thinking to do.

Got to get down to the cost, or get her up here... got to get one of the picturebooks finished. Got to actually manage to clean the kitchen. Got to start doctor-hunting again.

We're going to have to convince her to spend at least a week up here, and soon.

...but she has troubles of her own. She's lost her haven, there's trouble in her den, and she is unlikely to leave what safety she does still have unprotected while there are invders.

We should offer our help if she needs it, and otherwise just leave her alone. She'll be stresed enough, she doesn't need us to add to the chaos. This has always been a rough month for us and for her.

But it would be GOOD to do this. We might even be able to borrow the van to fetch her and take her back, if we explain the need for presents.

So we just what, show up and kidnap her.

She won't want to be away from her boy over the holidays, of course.

True... but we could just spirit her up here for a few days, have her back in time for Christmas, assuming the roads back are still clear when she's ready to leave.

What? I can't make it snow, can I? It'd hardly be my fault if she did get stuck up here. Particularly since her boytoy seems quite capble of driving, so even if we couldn't drive for some reason he could always take a few hours and come get her.

What makes you think she'd een consider it to begin with? She knows how likely it is she would get trapped here longer than expected

Money - what? Between her presents and what we can spare, we can make up for pretty much every day of work she misses.

Same here - my fingers wander off into gibberish and my eyes just won't sty io... see? Can't even finish typing without nodding off for a minute and slipping into nonense. Err, nonsense.

Fine. Later, then... but we will have this conversation, and we WIL politely invite her up. Face facts, right now we NEED the help, no two ways about it, and she's the only one we can trust who won't fuck up, fuck off, or fuck us over.
